Santa Clarita is our largest build. When it is complete, we will have made over 80,000 passings across the city, including residences, businesses, and HOA communities. The city is mapped into distinct areas that we construct in sequence.

Because each connection is tied to a specific fiber cabinet rather than a whole city or ZIP code, two streets a mile apart can be months apart on the schedule. That is why we do not publish a single coverage map. Your address page is the only place with the real timeline for your street, showing whether service is available now or the month it is scheduled.

What to expect during construction

A build this size involves many moving parts. Here is what to expect on your street.

You'll know before we start

Door tags are deployed one week prior to work beginning in your area, and no-parking signs go up about three days before crews reach your street.

Three phases, spaced apart

Construction runs in three phases, and the last is restoration. The phases are spaced apart, so a street can sit between stages for some time while underground construction is completed.

Before final restoration

If your street looks unfinished, we are in between phases and the work is not yet complete. Once the work is done, we return and restore the area as best as possible.
